The book SEX WITH STRANGERS contains 25 fully illustrated short stories for adults. They are rated [18]. The entire work is literary fiction, including the new form- flash fiction, and is not for the faint hearted: the many themes include very frank depictions of sexual acts, sexual vioence and sexual crime, explicit descriptions of violence and the free use of all many of swear words. In this volume Chris Madoch explores the more cruel aspects of human nature and shows that light can exist despite that darkness. There is no shrinking from the stark shock of the true. The fiction is derived from a sponge of a mind that has been fully immersed in such things through all sorts of media and real-life experiences. It is worth saying here that one of Chris Madoch's favorite books is Lyall Watson's DARK NATURE and that he is deeply interested in forensic pathology as an inside track to a greater understanding of the evil capabilities of men, women and children.

There are such instances where pretty indefensable 'vanity' publishing becomes essential- ie after you have given your art away on websites such as this and are consequently being asked by your fans to make print copies available. Anticipating the market for your work is just plain big-headed and will result in you having copies of your own work gathering dust on your own shelves at home BUT the likelihood of you selling sufficient to make a living but of it is extremely low. So- what is it that you have achieved. Your are not in fact part of a publishing revolution that will tear down the giants of land-based publishing- to believe that is delusional and totally ego-driven.
